One of his most notable efforts involved holding a corporation accountable for poisoning communities with a known carcinogen litigation that not only delivered justice to victims but also helped prevent toxic exposure for millions of Americans.

Whether the case involves a defective product, negligent corporate conduct, or catastrophic injury, James is known for his tireless advocacy on behalf of individuals and families harmed through no fault of their own. He is particularly passionate about representing those impacted by preventable tragedies and is committed to uncovering the truth in even the most complex legal battles.

In addition to his work in personal injury and wrongful death law, James maintains an active pro bono practice through the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation and participates annually in the Young Lawyers Division Estate Planning Project in partnership with Atlanta Legal Aid, extending his commitment to justice beyond the courtroom.

Originally from Clemson, South Carolina, James earned his degree in Economics from Clemson University. He later attended the University of Georgia School of Law, where he chaired the school’s Mock Trial Team and prosecuted criminal cases. He also worked alongside Professor Ronald L. Carlson to update a leading civil practice treatise and was selected as a Pupil in the prestigious Lumpkin Inn of Court, where he trained under some of Georgia’s most respected trial lawyers.
